Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: June 21, 2026TermsPrivacy

MefApp, operated by MEF Labs, lets you connect your social media accounts and publish content to them. This page explains how to delete the data we hold about you, including any data we obtain from a connected platform such as Instagram (access tokens, account id, username and profile picture).

1. Disconnect a connected account (immediate)

Sign in to MefApp and go to the Accounts page. Click Disconnect next to the account you want to remove. This immediately deletes the stored access tokens and the associated profile data (account id, username and profile picture) for that account from our system. You can also revoke MefApp's access directly from the connected platform's own account settings, in its apps or security permissions section.

2. Delete your entire MefApp account and all related data

To request full deletion of your MefApp account and all data associated with it — including your login details, all connected-account data, and any content you uploaded — send an email to contact@meflabs.com from the email address you used to sign up, with the subject "Data deletion request". We will permanently delete your data and confirm once it is done, within the timeframe required by applicable law (at most 30 days).

3. What gets deleted

  • OAuth access and refresh tokens for every connected account.
  • Connected-account profile data (account id, username, profile picture, account type).
  • Media you uploaded and the captions and posts you created.
  • Your MefApp account data (such as your email address).

For more information on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy. Questions? Contact us at contact@meflabs.com.
